Blockbuster IMAX, Fort Lauderdale

Located in the central part of Fort Lauderdale near the Riverwalk and opera.
I watched the Polar Express before the Christmas time. Amazing! I was singing Christmas songs for a week, that how it puts you in the mood. Beautiful!!!

The $3 million 3-D Blockbuster IMAX Theater at the Museum of Discovery & Science, is the highest attended ticketed museum in Florida. Like all IMAX's I have been to, this one is superb!! It is a treasure of exhibits that challenge, educate and delight youngsters, built to promote the understanding and appreciation of science in children and adults. It achieves this through entertaining interaction with educational exhibits, programs and films, and with the Discovery Center opened in 1999. Designed for toddlers and pre-schoolers, the Discovery Center is a place for them to meet new friends and have fun while developing motor skills and learning basic science

Museum of Discovery and Science

This place shows the wonder of science to both children and adults in a very entertaining way. Be warned though, it looked like it was a popular place for school trips, check out how many school buses are outside before you decide if you should venture in or not! There’s also an IMAX movie theatre here if you want to catch a flick.
