Water bus

Gives you great attractions. You can eat in the nice restaurants right on the river with live outdoor entertaiment. Visit some shops. Take a river bus along the canals and see many beautiful homes and yachts.

Though more visible with the addition of the Riverwalk compex that houses shops, restaurants, and bars, this beautiful stretch of river front property has been preserved by the city and in my opinion is the prettiest stroll in town.

Riverwalk
The heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida's most beautiful mile, showcases lush tropical landscape and winding walkways linking downtown Fort Lauderdale's attractions, restaurants and shops. Visit the Broward Center for Performing Arts, the Museum of Discovery and Science, the Florida Grand Opera, Old Fort Lauderdale</b<, Museum of Art, the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival and Stranahan House. All are within walking distance of one another along brick-lined Riverwalk. Leave your mark on Riverwalk with a personalized, engraved signature brick. The 22 block district includes chic Las Olas Boulevard and Las Olas Riverfront.

This is a really nice walkway along the north bank of the New River. It was very pleasant strolling along here in the warm Florida sunshine.
