    This little jet boat looks like fun! Go rent one of these and take it for a spin around the Gulf. It like a jetski but bigger, and we all know bigger is better! They are fast and very Maneuverable. Think I need to try one myself! Check the Visitors Center or local listing for places who rent these.

    • The Key West Express is a Catamaran to Key West. It is the Best way to get to Key West! The tickets are resonable and it is definately cheaper and faster than driving there. I went last month with my mother and my friend and we had a BLAST. Everyone was very nice and the crew were very accommodating. The boat exeeded my expectations.... very clean and the ride was smooth. We had about 5 hours on the island which was plenty of time to enjoy a nice lunch watch a parade on Duval Street ( lotts of pictures) .... shopping... and went sight seeing to the southern most point. It was a very nice time! I would definately do this again. Key West express is the only way to get to Key West in my opinion!!

    The sunsets here at Fort Myers Beach are very colorful and great for photos. Sunset chasers, this is a good place to catch some of the best sunsets on the gulf coast. Bring lots of batteries and memory. You won't be let down here unless it's raining.

    This is another great photo op! If you take San Carlos over the bridge in to Fort Myers Beach, take a right then another and go under the bridge you can park there for a small fee and walk out to the intercoastal harbor for some great photos. If you're the adventure type you can walk up the bridge and take photos from the top of the bridge overlooking the harbor, very nice. I took this on the fly, we'll call it a drive by shooting. Don't try this at home folks or at least don't get in an accident trying.

    You should check out Time Square while staying here, this is pretty much the center o town. Alot of things happen right here day and night, the entertainment, activities, food and shopping all start here! This is a great place to meet your party if you get seperated, or meet after shopping and have an icecream! As the sun starts to go down this is where every one comes to watch so get there early and claim your spot.

    If you take a ride over to Sanibel to go swimming, check out Lighthouse Beach to the left on Periwinkle Way. The water is calm, good views of the lighthouse, and plenty of birds that are not affraid of people, I got within a few feet of these beautiful birds. So make sure you bring your camera here with lots of batteries and film! There is plenty of other woldlife to see while you are swimming too.

    This is a great place, wonderful wide beaches, not really any wave and the water is shallow for quite a distance, great for skim boarding and little kids! We would suggest water shoes due to the shells every where, don't want the little ones feet to get hurt. Plenty to do for the older kids from teens to adults if they get bored only a few feet away like shopping, bar food and fishing. Get there early because parking fills up quick close to the beach.

    This was a rather interesting entertainer, he covered himself in a copper colored suit, painted his skin the same color and sat on a moped until someone came by to look closer at him and then he would move, startle the person, kinda funny really. But you would pay him a tip if you liked his form of entertainment or if you took a photo which is only fair. Support the local artist.
