There are so many great things to do and see in Florida. If it's your first time visiting, do the tourist things: Disney World, Bush Gardens, Sea World, ect..If you're going for the second or more time, take some time on the beachs, do some deep sea fishing, go orange picking..There's so much do to, you can't get it all in in one trip. Have fun. Orange picking is the greatest experince. You get to pick your own food. As boring as might think it would be for the kids, they'll love it.

You have to go to Universal Studios, it was the most fun I ever had. There you learn alittle about how some of the movies were made, and even go through adventures that make you feel like your in the movie.i would say Back To The Future was my favourte. This is a great place for the family. I missed the warm sunny weather, it never even rained the whole week I was there.Swimming in the Ocean was really nice and tanning on the beach.

I love sunbathing. We rented mopeds $30.00 for the whole day and rode around the Island. It is small enough to see everything, you won't miss a thing. It is very fun, laid back and lots of drinking going on.Don't miss the Sunset!

My tip is: take it easy! I visited all the great parks in Orlando, but took my time. That way, you get to see it all, even the small details...I liked Islands of Adventure very much, as it had just been opened. Also, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay was very nice and MGM is the best Disney park. Florida is one big playground....you'll love it or you'll hate it! It has beautiful weather and it is one big, enchanting world....Don't forget to visit the Everglades! I went there, but regret the fact that my stay at the Everglades was too short....

When visiting Florida you must take a ride on Hana Barba at Universal Studios for a virtual flight that's histerical. Florida is where I was proposed to in a cool mexican restaurant call Chillies. A starter called Awesome Blossom is quite a sight accompanied but frozen glasses of bud during happy hour helped me make a positive decision.

the whole disney experience is really amazing. they do a nice job of keeping true to their motto 'the happiest place on earth.' we loved the animal kingdom at disney. the 3D movie inside the central tree was a surprising delight.

I can remember the excitement of sitting with a supply of eats and cool drinks waiting for the launch of Atlantis is 1989. The whole atmosphere of the large group that gathered was so special. The only thing was after waiting all day the launch was cancelled because a cloud drifted over not in Florida but far away. Then later we heard about the earthquake in S.F.

Go visit one of the beaches. People go to Florida for the sunshine. In my opinion the best beaches for families with young children are in the Panhandle and on the west coast. We spent several days at Anna Maria Island South of Tampa Bay. The water on the gulf coast was much calmer than the beaches on the east coast. Anna Maria Island is perfect for an old fashioned family vacation. I especially loved walking on the beach at sunset as the sun melts into the west. The island still has a small community flavor with small, mostly independent motels or private houses that can be rented. Southern Living magazine described Anna Maria Island as like going back in time to the 1950s before things became too crowded and commercialized.
