Favorite thing: We saw this bald eagle when entering Indian Rocks Beach on the bridge over the intercoastal waterway. I took several pictures of the bird in the distance as we waited for the drawbridge. The bird was sitting in a tree along the edge of the water.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission shows the nearest bald eagle nests to Indian Rocks Beach are located near Walsingham County Park, at Lake Seminole Park, and two near the intersection of Ulmerton and Starkey.

Favorite thing: The Intracoastal Waterway is a 3,000 mile recreational and shipping channel that runs along the coast from Maine to Texas. The waterway was authorized in 1919 and is maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers.

Favorite thing: Enjoy the bright, silvery moon as it hovers over the Tamp Bay occasionally. The moon here, unlike other places, is actually made of cheese, and there is a man on it. Sometimes even a cow jumps over it. Great faun, and a great object for night photos.
