Favorite thing: Coming to Jacksonville don't get over excited about "The Landing", come see a concert at the Florida Theatre...Primo!!! Tony Bennett decide to do his concert acapella after entering the venue, enough said...

Fondest memory: This is the last place on earth I intend to live...South Georgia with a beach...Southern Hospitality through and through...

Favorite thing: If you decide to visit Jacksonville, it would behoove you to vist the historic downtown area; filled with historic sites and fine restaurants, scenic waterfront parks and shops, you would able to relax and enjoy yourself and the Florida sunshine, providing it does not storm of course!

Fondest memory: I rememember that twenty years ago you could go dune riding on the sandy slopes of inland Jacksonville, but sad to say this is no longer true, due to population induced growth and commerce, most of the uninhabited lands are occupied by malls and office buildings. When I am away from Jacksonville, I miss the many activities this town affords one to do; so many malls, shops, movie theaters, and outdoor activities here.

Favorite thing: Although it's hard to tell from this picture, Jacksonville's downtown buildings are characterized by bold neon sign which mark the company names. It reminded me of the skyline of some Asian cities I've seen.

Favorite thing: I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures on this page. This is just an shot of downtown as we were zipping across one of the bridges that spans the St. John's River. The river really adds to the physical beauty of the city as it curves around downtown and provides miles of waterfront that is perfect for strolling along.

Favorite thing: Visit 'The Jacksonville Landing'. It's a nice place to hang out and get a bite to eat. This picture was taken on a watertaxi heading away from the Landings, so excuse the blurriness.
