Salt Life Food Shack
This restaurant is inspired by the coastal lifestyle embodied by the Jacksonville Beach-born clothing and bumper sticker phenomenon known as "Salt Life." If you like the beach, surfing, fishing, or boating, be sure to check this place out. It is not really a "shack" but rather a casual yet hip restaurant with a large salt water aquarium and a variety of large works of art inspired by the “salt life.” While I am not a fan of the teriyaki glaze they use on their salmon (normally my favorite seafood dish), they do have a variety of great menu items for both salties and landlubbers alike.
the saltlife food shack is a beach themed restaurant located in jacksonville beach. saltlife offers local seafood, pacific rim, and american fare. saltlife has an interesting beach bar decor and the food is moderatlely priced. a very good dining value in the jacksonville area. they do not take reservations so expect to wait for a table on friday and saturday nights.
