    • Shorts and flip-flops welcome. There are many good seafood restaurants in the area, but Singleton's is my all-time favorite. Nestled in the midst of the shrimp boat docks, along the shore of the St. Johns River, it is not a fancy place, but you will feel warmly welcomed by the locals who serve up the freshest and finest seafood selection you can imagine. You will be welcomed just outside the door by resident ducks, pelicans and a few mousers (cats that chase the dock mice away), but be not afraid. Once you are inside you will see why you need not dress up for dinner - folks who come here know that they need comfortable clothes, for the tastebuds will continue to cry for more when the belly begins to say "I can't hold anymore".
