It is very cool. You get to see all things golf. All about the players and the history. They also have some games inside, one where you putt, and you're on tv, and a golf simulator. They have all kinds of old golf clubs, and you can use the putters. They also have a replica of the bridge at St. Andrews. Outside, there is a hole in the middle of a pond, made to resemble the famous hole at the nearby TPC at Saw Grass, and if you get it on the green, you win a prize. Also included in the price of admission is a miniature golf course. It's not goofy golf, but just a putting course. It was fun. There are also shops and restaurants, including a Caddy Shack restaurant. We went in and looked at the store, but didn't eat there. it looked cute, but the prices were a little steep. Overall, a great place for golf lovers of all ages, and their families won't be bored either!

The IMAX Theater combines an 80-foot wide and six-story high screen with a powerful sound system to provide visitors with a movie experience they'll never forget. Don't be fooled by the theater's location next to the World Golf Hall of Fame as the movies shown here are not golf-themed. Rather they are specially-filmed IMAX productions that range from dramatic geographic adventures to major-name animated features to footage of lively rock concerts. Call ahead to see what is playing at what dates and times.

The World Golf Hall of Fame in World Golf Village is a living history museum that provides visitors with a behind-the scenes look at the sport of golf through artifacts, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. Here you can putt on a nineteenth-century style green using an old fashioned putter and ball or utilize state of the art technology to play a virtual hole at legendary courses like Pebble Beach and St. Andrews. Overall, the Hall of Fame is organized into 18 exhibition areas following the chronology of golf from its roots to the present day. For a 365 degree aerial perspective of the World Golf Village complex, ride the elevator to the top of the hall's observation tower. If you're feeling inspired, you'll find an 18-hole putting course and a 132-yard challenge hole right outside the hall, or you can play one of World Golf Village's two world class courses: The King & The Bear and the Slammer & Squire.
World Golf Village is located along I-95 just a 25 minute drive south of Downtown. It is a booming self-contained community built as a celebration of golf. At its center stands the World Golf Hall of Fame, surrounded by an IMAX theater, a lakeside complex of shops and restaurants, two luxurious resorts, two world-class golf courses, the PGA Tour Golf Academy, the headquarters of PGA Tour Productions, a convention center, condos and a growing number of meticulously planned upscale housing developments.
