When you gotta go, you gotta go!
Favorite thing: Key West is an odd assortment of attractions and attitudes. But one thing I noticed quickly is that while the streets are crowded with small shops, toilets are limited to paying customers only. If you find yourself with a child (or adult, for that matter) that simply is running at the end of their endurance and you don't want to buy a $8 t-shirt in order to use the facilities, Burger King is located on Front Street, between Duval and Ann Streets. For $1.20 you can get a small drink AND eleviate the crisis!
Fondest memory: The performances on Mallory Square during the Sunset celebration are very much worth the time spent!

Favorite thing: When we rented a house in Key West, it didn't have any kind of a garage. We had two antique cars which Bob wanted to protect from the weather and salt in the air and in the water, especially the one that was a convertible. So he took something that was in abundant supply (a house trailer frame), and built a mobile garage on it to house one of the 1932 Plymouths.
Then of course he had to buy something to pull it with since neither a 1964 VW Bus nor a 1932 Plymouth could do the job. (last photo)
