Casablanca at Bogarts, Key West

in my opinion bogarts is the best replica irish pub in key west. bogarts is located on duval street near truman ave. this section of duval street is less crowded and loud than the section near sloppy's joes. a great place to relax and down a pint of guiness of two.

Dress Code: casual.

My husband and I stopped in here in the late afternoon because it looked like a nice authentic pub. We were especially pleased when we found that the bartender had a British accent. We were two of only a few others at the bar, but it was nice to be at a quiet bar after all the party atmosphere at the other end of Duval.
We quickly struck up a conversation with a local (another transient from England), and he and my husband talked about home improvement projects (exciting, I know).
There is nothing particularly special about this bar, but it is nice to find a more relaxing environment when you need it.
