Captain Mario's Seafood Feast: Delicious pasta!!

Captain Mario's Seafood Feast is one of the many restaurants located on Duval Street - many of whom have host/esses outside tempting you in with special offers.

This restaurant is one that offers an outdoor seating area which is great for those warm, balmy nights but it is next to the road and you sometimes feel like an animal in a zoo. That said, I had a very nice seafood ravioli followed by Key Lime Pie - a must in Key West.

Favorite Dish: The seafood ravioli was very nice but service left a little to be desired - possibly because I was a lone female diner?

Capt. Mario's Seafood Feast: Yummy seafood buffet

Conch fritters delicious. They also had tilapia fish, two soups, chicken, beef, lots of veggies,
and of course crawfish, shrimp, clams etc. My only disappointment is that they didn't have keylime anything for dessert, but Keylime is plentiful elsewhere in OldTown

Favorite Dish: The tilapia fish. It was very tender and tasty.

Capt. Mario's Seafood Feast: Horrible Service -- OK Buffet

The floor was dirty, service was horrible -- it took almost one hour and several reminders to bring a bowl of soup! Prices were outrageous.

However, buffet choices were decent -- it cost $11.95 but food was fine.

Favorite Dish: Crab Bisque was good.

Do NOT get sandwiches, though -- I ordered Crab Melt and it came with greasy french fries and few wedges of fruit. Sandwich itself was pathetic -- two slices of toasted bread with just a little bit of crab meat squeezed inside. For $10.99 it's outrageous and definitely a rip-off!

However, buffet choices were decent -- it cost $11.95 but food was fine. I should have ordered a buffet like the other person with me. There was a pretty good selection of salad, fried fish and shrimp, chicken, soups, desserts, and fruit.
