The pedi cabs run 2$ a minute. Twice as much average at least,as an air conditioned taxi driven by a local American. 90% of pedi cab drivers are from another country. I mention this because they dont know anything about KW or where it is. They go slow on purpose to make more money. They get The pedi cab jobs as soon
as they arrive. They will not alway disclose The cost of ride.
We went from one coast to the other by cycle rickshaw. though we gave 60 dollars which was 10 dollars more than what he agreed upon (he asked 60 and came down to 50), after we got down, he started asking more and almost started threatening to get more...sick guys..beware if you are taking cycle rick shaw..
A nice way to see Key West in its entirety is by rickshaw... it's a bit touristy but it's fun and fair priced. We hired a rickshaw to take us to Cafe Sole since it's a bit off the beaten path....
You'll see tons of rickshaws along Duvall. Pick one and hop on and they'll whisk you off for a breezy ride to wherever you'd like or just "around"...
These bicycle powered rickshaws are everywhere on Duval St.
The cost is $1.00 per minute. There are a lot of traffic lights and traffic on Duval, so a ride from one end to the other could be $30.00.
