The major gateway to Orlando and Walt Disney World is Orlando International Airport (MCO). The airport is ultramodern and huge. However, it is relatively easy to navigate. Monorails shuttle you from gate areas to the core area, where you'll find the baggage claim. The airport lies about 17 miles northeast of Kissimmee.
As we had no transportation during our stay in Kissimmee, we took a taxi from the airport to our hotel and paid about $ 45 for a van with six people. Taxis are located on Level 1 on both the A and B sides of the terminal.
