Since the price of the rooms / suites at Little Palm Island is between $1,000 and $2,000 I thought I would perhaps stay somewhere else. However, I had seen magazine articles about the island and its luxury "cabins" and its beachside restaurant. The entire island is private, meaning that you cannot get to it or stay or visit unless you are a registered guest OR just visiting for lunch of dinner.
Whalla! What a great idea. So Barb and I got all dressed up in our finest resort attire and took the chartered boat over to enjoy a relaxing and elegant lunch. Great food, Gulfside dining, relaxing and refreshing tropical drinks, and Key island deer roaming around us. Perfect. And not $1,000.
Some things are "priceless".
