In 1715 SPanish ships sank near here and lost MILLIONS in gold and treasures. Much has been recovered and is now on display in two museums. The other Museum is the Mclarty Treasure museum (see it under my "general tips"). The McLarty is more historic. This Mel Fisher museum also shows recovered gold!
I just love this little place...it's kind of a hole in the wall but it's always packed with beachcombers coming off the waves, looking for their shaved ice.
The ice cofffee drinks are fabulous, and I especially love the frozen spiced iced chai...
Mmmmmmm!!!!! Other goodies including shakes and smoothies also available - and equally delicious.
Located at 110 S. Miramar Ave (Indialantic), but basically it's right off A1A as you turn the corner from 5th Avenue, beachside Indialantic. You won't miss the line of people.
