Favorite thing: "The Road" - a wide, pedestrian-only stretch of sidewalk- is the Beach's cultural epicenter, with galleries every hundred feet or so and sidewalk, cafes filled with off-duty models trying to ralax.

Fondest memory: Include the Miami City Ballet, the Colony Theatre and the Lincoln Theatre, a Deco delight tha is home to the New World Symphony.

Every Sunday from November to March, there's a farmers market on the Road between Euclid and Meridian Aves.

If you have kids, note that the Lincoln Road Partnership arranges kids' activities during the farmer's market: meet at the fountain in front of World Resources Cafe 305-534-9095 Lincoln Road.

Free golf-carts-drawn trams shuttle up and down the road between Washington Ave and Alton Rd.
