We used to see these two boats getting fuel from the RIckenbacker marina fuel dock. The diesel truck was there on Mondays. I have not taken either boat, as Bob doesn't do dancing (and didn't even when we were dating), and a boat trip isn't such a good deal when you live on your own boat. Their website says:

"Enjoy Miami’s tropical nights! Our professional DJs spin the latest music as you dance under the stars aboard the hottest party cruise in South Florida."

    patio at Space

In Miami Beach the regulations allow business to sell alcohol untill 400am. For many years, the best parties were always in the Beach. They where a few after hour places, but no alcohol... well, like if the majority of the crow who will atend after hours cared, do you follow me?
Like two years ago, a few new places started to emerged in the down town area, close to the Arena. The area is a little doggy, but business are allow to stay open till noon...
Space is so far one of the best and the only one that has survived. Great dance floors, excelent resident DJ's. They even have an open patio at the back, the Latin room, which is handy for when you need some air.

Whenever we go to Miamarina, we see this 200' x 40' mega yacht gambling ship. She goes outside the 3 mile limit so that gambling is legal. The website says it offers "the ultimate entertainment experience, from nickel slots to black-chip play"

I've never been on this ship.

"Over 10,000 square feet of gaming area is available with approximately 450 gaming positions including all new slot machines, blackjack, craps, roulette, and specialty poker game."

Cruises of approximately four and 1/2 hours are offered daily with two sailings everyday, and a third cruise offered on Saturday Night. The cost per cruise is only $5.95!

One of the cruises each day is at night from 7:30 pm to 12:30 am. They offer free shuttle pick up on Friday and Saturday from South Beach.

    Space Miami

Space is Nocturnal is Space, the same vibe and atmosphere at these downtown clubs. You really have to have your energy when you step into this one- it doesn't even get nice until about 3AM- so definately don't go until at least 2- this is an after hours all hours nightclub and one of Miamis best.

  • Bongos Cuban Cafe: Gloria's Joint

by CanuckMark Written Apr 27, 2004

Inside Bongos - and my finger

Bongos Cuban Café is one of the hottest spots in all of Miami. Owned by Gloria Estefan, it is a large restaurant/nightclub attached to the side of the American Airlines arena. What makes Bongos so special is that despite it’s exclusive location and exclusive clientele, regular hum-drum tourists like me can also get into the club (if you are willing to pay cover and wait in the line!). This is a marked difference from some of the other clubs in Miami – especially in the South Beach district – where a strict rule of only allowing the ‘beautiful’ people into the clubs can apply.

Bongos is not cheap and is part restaurant and part nightclub. The only nights for club action is on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00pm-04:00am. On other nights, Bongos is restaurant only.

If you can afford it, be sure to visit Bongos at least once during your Miami stay. The super-large indoor dance floor as well as the more intimate outdoor dance floor make for a create time. Overall, the music is great with a good mix of new salsa, pop, and house. Drinks are expensive, so be prepared to go broke…

If you find some of the other clubs in Miami an intimidating place to try your salsa groove, go to Bongos. You will find that everyone is there just to have a fun time and not ‘critique’ the other patrons.

Dress Code: No Jeans is generally a good idea.

Miami's oldest bar, 'Tobacco Road', is also the best spot in Miami to listen to the blues greats. You name any great name in blues, they have played at Tobacco Road. Call ahead to see who's playing. Ususally two bands. One upstairs and one outside in the patio.
Best blues bar south of Atlanta, oldest liquor license in Miami, great kitchen, super happy hour. A lot legal eagels from downtown rush here after work to wait out the traffic jams at rush hour. There is only two places in Miami that you can get a fillet mignon for under $8.00, one is the Micossukee Indian Casino, at the micossukke reservation, the other is Tobacco Road. Burgers are great too.

Dress Code: Casual to leather Hell's Angels outfit.

Club Dence, it was selected by Miami Vice's set desingners for location shooting.Club Dence fit the bill quite nicely. But remember, if you walk in the door
with a chip on your shoulder, you best have your Blue Cross/Blue Shield paid up.

    Nocturnal

This place is a short ride from South Beach and a great place to party all night. I personally love the 3rd floor openess, if you;re in Miami and a true partier you have to give this one a try- Friday or Saturdays have always been the best nights at this hotspot.

Dress Code: Dress to impress- Miami style, I don't have to tell you.

    Space: Best night in Miami

    by tyrone22 Written Mar 14, 2003

Best night club in Miami hands down. There's a few different dance floors depending on your mood. Around 6am they close the inside and moved the party to the outside dance floor. And of course lots of beautiful people taking their clothes off to get some sun...
