take a tour on the bayside boat tours they have or take a ride on the horses around bayside.
Bayside Marketplace is a good orientation spot from where you can undertake different things. The main activities are:
1. Shopping (of course)
2. Eating (see our restaurant tip)
3. Dancing: in the afternoon a band starts to play some Miami beat and calypso songs and passers-by start to dance spontaneously, while even more passers-by sit down and watch... (see picture)
4. Starting point for a bay cruise
There are a number of cruise tours along the bay. Take a 1 hr tour and the cruise will take u to have a look at the celebrities' expensive homes. If u have luck, u can see dolphins also.
Make sure to take a cruise during sunset, wonderful!
Winter time, take the cruise at 5pm!
Summer time, take at 7pm!
After the tour, have dinner in one of the seaside restuarants there and enjoy the sea breeze!
Shop around after food is good for health! Perfect!
BAYSIDE COMMERCIAL CENTRE
This nice Mall is located at the sea shore, at Bay Byscaine. It's a charming place to relax and have a daikiri as you see the boats go by.
If you have only a half day, arm yourself with a frozen daiquiri and stroll along the bay. There are lots of shops and kiosks, plus live music and entertainment every day. You can also catch a quick sightseeing cruise from Bayside.
We went to Bayside, once during the day and once at night. What a change! Lots of people and shopping during the day, and at night great little party boats! We had such a good time!
The free concert stage...sorry, don't remember the name of the band that was playing.
In the background, you can see the Hard Rock cafe...Elvis fans go there as they have one of his bike
