The Parrot Jungle Island is located just outside downtown Miami. Here you can feed the parrots, flamingos and fish with food from gumball machines and see some shows.
Just an advice when feeding be carefull and don't make sudden moves, when a parrot holds your hand with its feet don't pull back. Pulling back wil make them hold on more tightly and their nails are sharp. All in all the birds are very friendly but some caution can be in place.
Besides parrots you wil find gators, monkeys, reptiles, gators and more...
The park is in very good condition, and fairly new.

If you never seen a 1,000 birds all at once then this is the place to see them.....with a new tourist friendly location....this is one of the coolest places in all of South Florida. Great for the kids and even for a nice date....highly recommend it !!!! Leave a Comment Directions: On the way to South Beach on the MacArthur Causeway on the left hand side....CAN'T MISS IT !!!!
