Doraku is ( as the name sounds) a Sushi place that also boasts a weekly happy hour! Ok, nearly every place on South beach has some kind of Happy hour, but this place does a two-for-one-drink kind of happy hour. The sour apple martinis are a dream and shortly before the happy hour was over the waitress actually came over to promt us to get more drinks before the time was up - now that is what I call service!!
I don't like Sushi, so cannot comment on that kind of food , but they had some Shrimp dishes that were absolutely amazing.

Segafredo is a great little bar / Cafe that has a great selection of delicious cocktails. You can order lovely Paninis here as well, so don't shy away from eating here just because it is more like a bar. It is situated right at the beginning of Lincoln Rd. which is the best place to people watch on Sobe. The music played is house with a slight latin touch, the crowd is very mixed but with a slant towards "the beautiful"! Sit here and watch the world go by!
Dress Code: This place is outdoors so there is no way to really be refused a table. No dress code.

This place is not stylish in any way, but the drinks are strong, the Jukebox is gigantic and has an amazing selection and there are plenty of pool tables to keep you busy and having fun...and therefore drinking all night. I'm not a beer drinker, but they have an international selection and neither the staff nor the guests are pretentious! When you have drunk your fill you can stumble right across the road to Jerrys Deli -open 24 hours!!

Mango's Tropical Cafe is a premiere nightclub located on Ocean Drive. It is owned by Gloria Estefan and was opened in 1991. They have extremely hot waitresses who get up on a table and dance.
Dress Code: Go as you please, but you probably will not fit in if you dress up like a beach bum!

Going out in Miami,
can be a pretty hard choice to make
if you aren't sure of what you want.
But after checking out several parties
in the night club scene,
I settled with my favorite promoters,
Joe and Thomas from the Aguabooty Team.
It's all about the music,
and not the scene.
Just good music.....like
Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt,
and other great DJ's.
At these great parties,
no need to put on the plastic boobs,
and high heels.....just put on your best smile!
You are there to enjoy the music,
dance and have a great time!
They are not set up in any particular venue,
but rather move around from place to place.
So it be best
that you check out their
web-site and be added on to their e-mail list.
And that is the way to know
on what they are up to.
If you go.....
enjoy & tell them hello with a big kiss
from where ever I am in the world!!!
I luv those guys!

Famous for its strong alcoholic frozen drinks, Wet Willie's is always packed. Go upstairs to the bar area and ask to taste some of the 25 or so drinks that are displayed behind the bar.
After an "Attitude Adjustment", I decided to "Call a Cab", because I was about done.
You have to check out this place just for the kick you get from the drink names!
There is also a rooftop standing-room-only area with a great view over Ocean Drive and the night scene below.

A guy on the street was handing out free entrance fliers to the B.E.D night club and so we decided to see what it was all about. Just the name made me very curious. "Sex and the city" had the Manhattan version of B.E.D and so naturally I was dying to see what this one would be like.....
Well, getting in for free with the free coupon was harder than we thought. After a bit of flirtacious back-and-forth with the doorman, we finally were allowed into a huge smoke filled room flanked with beds - beds covered in white linens and canopies - and a bar area at the far end.
Music was hip hop.
Although this nightclub is marketed as a restaurant AND nightclub, I wouldnt call it anything but a 20's something hiphop/trance nightclub.
Well, also found out that B.E.D stands for Beverages Entertainment and Dining....???
Dress Code: Usual nightclub attire. I doubt if you can get in with jeans and sneakers!
