Not the fastest service on SoBe, but certainly great food. You MUST try the Peanut Butter Cheesecake, or if you don’t like peanut butter, try the Oreo cookie cheesecake. They are the biggest cheesecakes I’ve ever seen. They also serve TV dinners, with all the food in little compartments!
Favorite Dish: Peanut Butter Cheesecake!

I have several favorite restaurants in this area.
First, there is Houston's near the Aventura Mall. We had lunch here last July.
Another favorite is Gloria Estafan's Larios on the Beach in South Beach.
And last, you won't go wrong with the Bennigan's near the Miami Embassy Suites. The servers are very enthusiastic and the food is good.
Houston's, part of an upscale chain, has a contemporary feeling. It is decorated with black leather and plenty of wood. Ask for a table with a view of the water.
Favorite Dish: I order the chicken fingers and a ceasar salad at Houston's.

MIAMI is plenty of well-prices ethnic spots, such as Haitian Restaurants, Italian trattorias, Indian venues, and Greek dinners, and of course a lot of Cuban restaurants.

You can eat in the beautiful lobby dining area (which is quiet enough to have a conversation!) or on the front porch where you can watch the people on parade and usually listen to live music.
Favorite Dish: Salmon Wellington, a beautiful piece of fresh salmon in a crust

Address: 1213 Ocean Drive Miami Beach FL 33139
Near the Universtiy of Miami so a large college crowd makes for a good time even during the week.
Favorite Dish: Lot of nice food, but the real calling card are some award winning brews like their Captain Smith's Rye Ale.

Address: 5813 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Coral Gables, Fl.
The quintessential Jewish deli with a bustling raucous atmosphere and “career” waitresses often well in their sixties still pumping out the food in efficient and often cavalier fashion. You’ll feel like NYC has been transplanted south and you know what, it pretty much has been.
Favorite Dish: Chopped liver to die for, king of corned beef sandwiches, and bread and desserts baked fresh every day.
