The Black Creek Cafe has down home Southern country food. Fried Chicken, Steak, Catfish, Meat Loaf, vegetables, mashed potatoes, great biscuits, etc. It is a popular local hangout and has a family atmosphere. Decor is simple. The staff makes you feel very welcome.

They are building a new shopping mall on the outskirts of Middleburg so you do not have to drive all the way to Orange Park to do some major shopping. The mall is still under construction. I will try to let you know when it is finished and all the details.

Social life in Middleburg revolves around family, so Omega Park (run by the Middleburg Athletic Association) is the central point to go to. Omega Park has tennis courts, athletic fields, a playground etc. There are a number of youth football, baseball, and soccer teams. When there is a game lots of people show up to cheer for the kids and visit freinds and neighbors. If you are a member of the Board of Directors of the Middleburg Athletic Association, you have arrived socially.
