5th Avenue, the Heart Of Town
The main drag of Naples is its commercial center as well, 5th Avenue South. All manner of boutiques, restaurants & galleries line the street for blocks in the restored historic city center buildings, from the main intersection at the Tamiami Trail (US41) & 5th. Don’t forget to go down there on the first Thursday of the month if you’re in town then. It becomes one huge block party, with all kinds of bands playing along the street, and shops & galleries open late for your after-dinner stroll.

Nice street with Mediteranian style buildings.
We visited many fine shops, galleries, restaurants, and sidewalk cafes along the beautifully landscaped promenades in this historic setting near the beach and in the heart of Naples. A unique place where families and friends can meet surrounded by the aura of small-town friendliness and historical landmarks, but also with a flavor and sophistication that is Naples' Main Street.
