If you are looking for ambience, then you are out of luck. This is not the reason to eat at Bostons Seafood House. They have the best fried shrimp and onion rings on Earth! Their fish and lobster is always fresh and prepared to perfection. We have been enjoying their seafood for over 20 years!
Favorite Dish: Fried shrimp the best in the state of Florida! Batter is light and the onion rings are a must try as well.

We walked over to this restaurant when we were at the municipal marina in 2000. There is also a dock near the Intercoastal, but I don't know the depth or what draft of boat can use it.
All the food is fried. Service is quick and friendly. Food can be taken out or eaten on the deck outside.
There is a big sign on the deck with reasons not to feed the birds, but the birds obviously ARE fed.
After the 2000 trip down the ICW we didn't stop at New Smyrna again. The hurricanes of 2004 completely stripped away the municipal docks. But when I stood on the waterfront where the marina had been, I could still see the blue Sea Harvest building across the harbor.
Favorite Dish: Fried chicken, shrimp, fish or seafood - either in a sandwich or in a basket with french fries and cole slaw. I had a good shrimp sandwich for lunch, and Bob had a seafood dinner in the evening.

The restaurant is kind of campy, pretty much like everything else in Florida. But you get to have blackened fish sandwich, fish and chips, and fried alligator by the sea, so it's alright in my book. They've also got this ingenious invention of putting a plastic cup of ice into the beer pitcher to keep it cold, otherwise the beer will become watered down when the ice melts (they melt fast!)
Favorite Dish: I had the fried alligator poppers. It was good, but ask for tartar sauce instead of cocktail sauce next time.

I saw this Bakery/Cafe and thought it was a cute name so I took a picture. I thought about coming back here for lunch, but it was on the wrong side of the street and there didn't appear to be much parking, so I have not eaten here.

this was BY FAR the best place i ate in new smyrna beach; i would come back here on every trip.
large dining area, but divided into separate sections so it doesn't seem as large as it is. mainly seafood. beer and wine available.
open mon-sat, 11 am to 9 pm; open sun, noon to 9 pm. happy hour (two-for-one drinks),
4-7 pm. dress is casual.
entrees are $10-$20.
Favorite Dish: i had (huge) fried coconut shrimp with grilled chicken (also large) for $13. this comes with a really good dipping sauce and a small loaf of soft bread plus butter. also included are broccoli and carrots and large potato wedges.
the coffee is excellent. the key lime pie ($3.50), a very large slice, is terrific.
the shrimp and chicken, coffee, pie, and a mixed drink (bloody mary) were $25 total.

"homemade dough and sauce."
open sun-thurs, 3-11 pm, open fri-sat, 11 am to 11 pm. free delivery.
i did not eat at the restaurant, but the menu says that they have subs, salads, wings, and spaghetti dinners.
Favorite Dish: i had a medium sausage-and-pepperoni pizza ($11). it was fine for two people.
the crust was soft and crispy at the same time. there was a good amount of both sausage (sliced) and pepperoni, tho not as much as domino's.
