Days Rsrt Ocnfrnt Miami Bch N: Best Value on the Beach

This was fun with great food and service. Great idea to have the red and green license plates hanging on the table, You flip it to the red one that says Stop Forest when you need something. The nearest server stops and asks what you need. In addition to making sure you don't wait for anything, this also keeps you from getting interrupted every two minutes to be asked if you need anything. All restaurants should do this!
Desert shooters were not so good. My friend's was congealed on top as it if had been made way in advance.
Park in the parking deck. We got ripped off by a guy pretending to be a parking attendant at the public lot in the median of US 1 in front of the restaurant. Then two more guys tried to do the same thing. We moved to the parking deck. If Miami likes it's tourist dollars, about $3 trillion a year to Florida from what we were told, they need to look out for their tourists and stop this type of scam.
While the restaurant is great, the neighborhood is apparently not very good for tourists.
Favorite Dish: The shrimp platter. Don't remember what it was called. The boiled shrimp, coconut shrimp and fried shrimp had more flavor than the tempura shrimp but they were all good. Was enough to split.

The price is not expensive, the decorationn is not Brazilian at all, but the atmosphere give an idea how is the Brazilians...Every saturday it have a Samba Show, with two girls...
They wear small bikinis and Carnival Customs and dancing....more.... they invite the clients to dance too. Thursday is videoke day.... With Brazilian Popular Music, of course.
Favorite Dish: Feijoada (Brazilian food, black beans with pork's peaces(don't ask what pieces are from, it is really delicious),orange, 'farofa' (side dish based on manioc flour)collard leaf
Drink: 'caipirinha'
Dessert: 'brigadeiro'

We were ripped off by a guy posing as a parking attendant at the public parking lot in the median of US 1 in front of Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami.
Two other guys tried the same scam after that one.
We moved to the parking deck.
Be careful who you pay for parking!!!
