Pronti's Italian restaurant in Lake Park cannot be beach for quality, quantity, and price. Also, Captain Charlies in North Palm is equally good for seafood.
Avoid Panama Hattie's based on prices that are just too high.
Pronti's is decorated with may photos of the family and memorabilia, interesting to look at. They also have comfortable booths.
Favorite Dish: I always liked the large antipasto (with the fishies) at Prontis. Any thing is good there however. At Captain Charlies my favorite is the fish stew (fish, clams, mussels, lobster, etc.)

North Palm Beach Tourist Traps
After the hurricanes of 2004 several of the buildings at the Juno Beach Holiday Inn were rebuilt. I am not fussy but mildew smells forced me out of this hotel. Also there are not enough plugs to charge your phone and lap-top. 3 years ago most rooms had coffee makers small refrigerators and other amenities. This is just a Motel 6 with a green sign. If you have a dog be sure you inspect your room FIRST - they have two cat-pee rooms that stink to high heaven - God, cats suck.
Unique Suggestions: Check room FIRST !!!! BEFORE you give them a credit card - IF your rooms is ultra cold . . . they have turned up the air conditioner to hide various stinks.Related to:

North Palm Beach Off The Beaten Path
If you want a secluded beach drive to Juno Beach. Take A1A northern fork off of US1. Drive about 1/4-1/2 mile and take first right then another immediate right into a park and parking area across the street from the 'duck pond'. Walk toward and onto the beach on the public accessway.
North Palm Beach Favorites
Favorite thing: If you love seafood you must eat at Captain Charlies. It is a hole in the wall but the food is beyond description and at least used to be reasonably priced. Demand is high - get there early !
Fondest memory: My fondest memory is of jogging along the beach early in the morning as the sun rises over the ocean. I miss that a lot.
