I have not been to Church Street or Universal City Walk- But I can attest that Pleasure Island is a blast. Thursday nights are Cast Member nights (employees of disney get in for free). Thursdays are a great night at PI along with weekends.

The largest gather of all ages for every type of music is Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island. If you like heavy metal or disco or 70's or jazz and everything in between theres a club for you.
14 dollars gets you into all the clubs and whatever live music conserts planned for the outdoor Newyears bash, which is each and every night at midnight, Happy New Year.

This is a great thing for the family... for dinner! It's a dinner show that's sort of like a luau. You can watch all sorts of hoola dancers and flame throwing, etc. It's really quite neat and you'll get some great food!!!

Disney's Boardwalk Entertainment Complex - My favorite spot was the ESPN Zone - great place to watch sports.

Do ensure that you stay behind to catch all the fireworks display here at the respective theme parks.
ALL theme parks here end the night with some sort of spectacular fireworks display. My favorite ones are those at EPCOT CENTER and DISNEY-MGM STUDIOS. Spectacular's the word. Don't miss it.
Photo below: Magnificent fireworks display at the EPCOT CENTER.
Last December I was privileged enough to be able to watch the Fireworks show from the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom while at the Contemporary Resort. It was a beautiful sight.
I mean this is cute and all....But it really isn't me, thats what didn't make me excited at all about the place! Great for the kids though!
Downtown Orlando, Universal City Walk or Downtown Disney, if you like going out at night, there is something for everyone at each of these locations.
