located at the dubsdread country club in college park the tap room offers a good selection of american fare. they serve both sandwiches and full entries. good food at reasonable prices. on a nice day book a table on the veranda overlooking the golf course. for lunch i suggest their hamburgers. full liquor bar and a good beer and wine selection.

The B-line is the Hotels only place for breakfast, but surprisingly I hit no morning a long waiting line, like at other convention hotels.

wide selection of fine food, but I missed a buffet style selection.

Convention center's do very often not serve good food, except burgers and chips, but the Orchid Restaurant's at the Orange County Convention Center are really a highlight, fine food, comfortable seating and a quite atmosphere.

    Buffet with a wide selection

  • Shari Sushi Lounge - Orlando
    Shari Sushi Lounge
    by Gwynneth
Shari Sushi Lounge is simply the best! I've been to so many sushi restaurants... we have sushi for lunch... so I feel confident in my statement 100% Shari's menu is mouth-watering with a visual presentation second to none!

Shari's head chef and owner, Chau has excelled in everyway. He has chosen well knowledge staff who understand that service is sometimes difficult expecially if you are new to Sushi and all that is raw. Our waiter brought samples of the menu and Saki to tempt us so we could make a selection from our true favourites.

As for the atmosphere, Shari is divine. There is seating outside on the terrace and two levels of dining inside with an open sushi kitchen so you can see the creations as they happen!

I would recommend this place to anyone!!

My favourite sushi at Shari is the 'Japanese Bagel' (they call it 'bagel' because it has the creamest cream cheese in the centre). I enjoyed this sushi roll so much I ordered it twice!

  • Being my son is a an aspiring Chef we had to see Emerill's place. Food was awsome and the service was top notch. The wait staff is a team of 3 that take care of you..it was confusing at first then I just had to ask!!!!
They have a window that looks into the kitchen that seats about 8 you could eat and watch the chefs do their magic.
    Make reservations well in advance.

I had the duck it was really happy with my choice. Wife & son had a fish plate and we all enjoyed the meal.

I was really hungry so when I saw the "eat all you can" menue in Germany at EPCOT that was all the persuading I needed.

The food was good though my diet restricted me again to about 4 things. Like it said though, eat as much as you like so 4 things were enough and I even managed to find a dessert I liked.

You also get live, genuine German musical entertainment but that's not necassarily a good thing!

Also check out the restaurant in Mexico at EPCOT. I didn't eat there but this was by far the most beautiful setting you could dine in. In a Mexican village under a star lit night.

    My favorite dish?......... The waitress!

Just kidding, it was her first day and she was very helpfull.

To be honest I'm not sure what I was eating but the smoked sausage was good.

  • This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. It is a chain of restaurants, there are a few locations in Orlando. We frequently visit Orlando, and always make sure to eat here. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly.

  • Roy's at Night - Orlando
    Roy's at Night
    by Bwana_Brown
Roy's Restaurant is one of a chain of these amazing restaurants started in Hawaii in 1988 by Roy Yamaguchi. To quote their literature, these restaurants strive to combine the 'fresh ingredients and bold flavors of the Asian Pacific Rim with the sauces and textures of European cooking while focusing on fresh local seafood'. In my opinion, they have more than succeeded! The presentation of every course of the meal is done perfectly and the amazing array of taste sensations is something that I have not experienced at any other restaurant. The group I was with started with various appetizers and each was delicious in its own way. I stepped outside into the night part way through the meal to take this rather poor photo of the outside of the restaurant.

As for the main part of the meal, I had a pineapple passion-fruit martini with mango juice to start off. Then it was on to a Beefsteak Tomato, Spinach & Onion salad in Balsamic Vinaigrette ($8). Because I could not choose between the many enticing options, I elected to have their Surfah Combo for the main course ($22). It consisted of Roasted Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi-Mahi along with a Cilantro Seared Atlantic Salmon Filet served in Maine Lobster Butter sauce & Thai Spiced Pinapple Butter! It was a meal to remember. A couple of glasses of California Syrah 1998 red wine with the meal and a small glass of 30-year old port ($30) to round things off! If you ever get the chance - go for Roy's!!

  • Went to this restaurant for the first time last week and liked it so much that I want to add it to my Orlando page.

The food was great, and while I have never actually been to Japan, it did have an authentic look to it. We even had steamed soy beans for snack before lunch . They were pretty good and I have never tried those before.

Bento Lunch box: had everything in it, sushi, teriaky chicken, some type of vegetable salad I am not sure what it was, tempura, rice, plus soup to start.
