The entrance of festival Bay

Festival bay near the Belz outlets located on International Drive. I had Festival Bay seen being build and been there once. But after almost two years there still is a lot of shopping space open for lease. But festival bay is still worth visiting since it has indoor skatepark by Vans, movie theatre , shopping, food and a huge Ron Jon shop . We took our lunch here at Subway.

What to buy: Here you can buy cheap clothing at Steve's and Barrys, your skate and surf gear and much more.

What to pay: Depends on where and what your buy.

More than just a shopping experience....: Downtown Disney

Leggos! That's some toy!

Downtown Disney yes, has wonderful shops and many of them. My personal favorites would be the Christmas Store, the Gadget Store and Bakery, and of course Winnie the Pooh store. But there is so much more. Those that I've listed I have found the best bargains in and frequent sales. Of course they will deliver to your resort hotel or have it shipped to your home even. There are many restaurants to enjoy as well. I prefer the end opposite of the Planet Hollywood end. But recommend visiting the Planet Hollywood end first. Don't miss Cafe Cubano for coffee or atmosphere...I want to go to Cuba every time I leave here. The very large Virgin record store has great bargains also. When you are done at this end, move your car to the other end... you don't want to have to walk this distance.

When walking around Downtown Disney, don't miss Leggo creatures and Leggoland. It is amazing to imagine someone actually built these fantastic structures all out of little tiny leggos. I am still in awe everytime I see it.

What to buy: Love the candy items in the Gadget and Bakery store. Also kitchen items are fun...Mickey glassware can easily be found on sale here.

Biggest disappointment here...House of Blues. Have gone here several times at different times of the day and often they are closed. Irritating. Don't waste your time.

There are 4 Malls that are located near the tourist area in Orlando.
1. First one and the most expensive one - Mall at Millenia (http://www.mallatmillenia.com). I love this place. GORGEOUS! Here you can find numerous stores, restaurants, coffee shops and salons. If you are not planning to spend any money - just go there for a walk, dinner or a cup of coffee. But if you are looking for something chic and pricey - shopping here is a must! In addition to regular stores here you can find:

LOUIS VUITTON | CHANEL | GUCCI | BURBERRY
DIOR | JIMMY CHOO | ST. JOHN | TIFFANY & CO.
PARK PROMINADE JEWELLERS | CARTIER | DAVID YURMAN |
JUICY COUTURE | SALVATORE FERRAGAMO | TORY BURCH

NEIMAN MARCUS | BLOOMINGDALE'S | MACY'S

2. Prime Outlets (http://www.primeoutlets.com/) - located right next to Millenia mall (less then 5 min by car and 10 by bus). It's an outlet - great place to search for good deals!

Designer Apparel and Sportswear
Shoes
Children's
Luggage and Leathe
Home Fashions
Jewelry and Accessories
Specialty
Restaurants and Eateries
3. Florida mall - is attached To Florida Hotel. Here you can find all the stores you need and prices you want!
Main stores: JC Penney, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, American Eagle, Victoria Secret, Armani and other...

4. Premium Outlets (http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=17) - i think this is the most popular place among tourists. It's always packed! Great place to look for sales and huge discounts! Pointe Orlando

Orlando has many places to shop, whether it be Pointe Orlando Outlets, Mall of Millenia, or Belz Mall. All of them have many great things to buy!
My favourite place was Pointe Orlando....for the reason it was opposite our hotel (not too far to carry the bags) and had many stores to spend your hard earned cash!

another mall

What is the deal with Americans and malls? Ugh. I hate malls. Trumped-up malls like Mall at Millenia are no exception. I think part of my bitterness is due to the fact that people always assume that because I'm a woman, I must love to shop. No matter how assertive I am about hating shopping, I always end up at a freakin' mall. I despise it.
Cory's brother took us here, assuring us we would love it even though we both said we didn't want to go. I ended up sitting on a bench and Cory was getting sick in the bathroom. I think his brother's wife had a good time, though.

What to buy: Apparently you can never own too many outfits.

Tiffany 1837 hoop earrings

What to buy: Most things are special in this Mall! I walked around amazed at how many HUGE name boutiques there were here!

These are a few I recall...
Apple, Bang & Olufsen, Bebe, Bloomindale's, Body Shop, Cartier, Chanel, Christian Dior, Coco Lunette, Gap, Godiva Chocolatier, Gucci, Guess, Hugo Boss, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Nice West, Prada, Quicksilver Boardriders Club, St John, Swarovski, Tiffany & Co and Victoria's Secret.

We shopped 'till we dropped ... my first magnificent purchase was made by my cousin for me at Tiffiany & Co... my first pair of earrings are a gorgeous pair of 1837™ hoop earrings presented in a little green box.

I still can't believe they're mine! Thank you sweetheart!

What to pay: Pay? Oh... ummm don't worry about that... you're credit card will tell you when to stop!

The Florida Mall is the biggest indoor shopping centre that I have ever been to.
The food area is amazing, it is one big room packed with tables and chairs in the middle with a large variety of food outlets round the outside. You can get something from each one and all sit together in the middle.

One of my favourite stores is the Franklin Mint Shop where you can buy very acurate detailed minatures of animals, people and vehicles amongst other things.

To be continued.

What to buy: You can buy virtually anything here, from sports wear to cd`s.

Florida Mall: For Serious Shopping!
kop-queen profile photo

2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Escape the heat and spend some serious money if you want to. Not that it's all expensive stuff - there is a complete range to choose from - there's just a lot of shops to fritter away your holiday dollars in.

This is a big scale shopping mall - all under one roof (or as far as we managed to discover it was). Worth a trip - be sure to pick up the book of saving vouchers at the service desk if you haven't already been given one elsewhere.

What to buy: From budget clothing to high tec electronics and high quality furnishings.

What to pay: Take your credit card if you're serious!
