Festival Bay Mall: An indoor shopping / entertainment center.

by mafootje Updated Apr 4, 2011

Festival bay near the Belz outlets located on International Drive. I had Festival Bay seen being build and been there once. But after almost two years there still is a lot of shopping space open for lease. But festival bay is still worth visiting since it has indoor skatepark by Vans, movie theatre , shopping, food and a huge Ron Jon shop . We took our lunch here at Subway.

What to buy: Here you can buy cheap clothing at Steve's and Barrys, your skate and surf gear and much more.

What to pay: Depends on where and what your buy.

More than just a shopping experience....: Downtown Disney

by JSki Updated Apr 4, 2011

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Downtown Disney yes, has wonderful shops and many of them. My personal favorites would be the Christmas Store, the Gadget Store and Bakery, and of course Winnie the Pooh store. But there is so much more. Those that I've listed I have found the best bargains in and frequent sales. Of course they will deliver to your resort hotel or have it shipped to your home even. There are many restaurants to enjoy as well. I prefer the end opposite of the Planet Hollywood end. But recommend visiting the Planet Hollywood end first. Don't miss Cafe Cubano for coffee or atmosphere...I want to go to Cuba every time I leave here. The very large Virgin record store has great bargains also. When you are done at this end, move your car to the other end... you don't want to have to walk this distance.

When walking around Downtown Disney, don't miss Leggo creatures and Leggoland. It is amazing to imagine someone actually built these fantastic structures all out of little tiny leggos. I am still in awe everytime I see it.

What to buy: Love the candy items in the Gadget and Bakery store. Also kitchen items are fun...Mickey glassware can easily be found on sale here.

Biggest disappointment here...House of Blues. Have gone here several times at different times of the day and often they are closed. Irritating. Don't waste your time.

    Leggos! That's some toy!

Malls and Outlets in Orlando, Fl

by JennaTailor Written Oct 7, 2009

There are 4 Malls that are located near the tourist area in Orlando.
    1. First one and the most expensive one - Mall at Millenia ( I love this place. GORGEOUS! Here you can find numerous stores, restaurants, coffee shops and salons. If you are not planning to spend any money - just go there for a walk, dinner or a cup of coffee. But if you are looking for something chic and pricey - shopping here is a must! In addition to regular stores here you can find:

    2. Prime Outlets ( - located right next to Millenia mall (less then 5 min by car and 10 by bus). It's an outlet - great place to search for good deals!

    Designer Apparel and Sportswear
    Luggage and Leathe
    Home Fashions
    Jewelry and Accessories
    Restaurants and Eateries
    3. Florida mall - is attached To Florida Hotel. Here you can find all the stores you need and prices you want!
Main stores: JC Penney, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, American Eagle, Victoria Secret, Armani and other...

    4. Premium Outlets ( - i think this is the most popular place among tourists. It's always packed! Great place to look for sales and huge discounts! Find impressive savings at Ann Taylor, Barneys New York Outlet, Burberry, Coach, Diesel, Fendi, Gap Outlet, Giorgio Armani, Kenneth Cole, Lacoste, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Salvatore Ferragamo, Theory, Tommy Hilfiger and other!

Orlando has many places to shop, whether it be Pointe Orlando Outlets, Mall of Millenia, or Belz Mall. All of them have many great things to buy!
My favourite place was Pointe Orlando....for the reason it was opposite our hotel (not too far to carry the bags) and had many stores to spend your hard earned cash!

What is the deal with Americans and malls? Ugh. I hate malls. Trumped-up malls like Mall at Millenia are no exception. I think part of my bitterness is due to the fact that people always assume that because I'm a woman, I must love to shop. No matter how assertive I am about hating shopping, I always end up at a freakin' mall. I despise it.
Cory's brother took us here, assuring us we would love it even though we both said we didn't want to go. I ended up sitting on a bench and Cory was getting sick in the bathroom. I think his brother's wife had a good time, though.

What to buy: Apparently you can never own too many outfits.

These are a few I recall...

We shopped 'till we dropped ... my first magnificent purchase was made by my cousin for me at Tiffiany & Co... my first pair of earrings are a gorgeous pair of 1837™ hoop earrings presented in a little green box.

I still can't believe they're mine! Thank you sweetheart!

What to pay: Pay? Oh... ummm don't worry about that... you're credit card will tell you when to stop!

    Florida Mall: Florida Mall

    by DUNK67 Updated Jun 2, 2005

The Florida Mall is the biggest indoor shopping centre that I have ever been to.
The food area is amazing, it is one big room packed with tables and chairs in the middle with a large variety of food outlets round the outside. You can get something from each one and all sit together in the middle.

One of my favourite stores is the Franklin Mint Shop where you can buy very acurate detailed minatures of animals, people and vehicles amongst other things.

    To be continued.

What to buy: You can buy virtually anything here, from sports wear to cd`s.

    Florida Mall: For Serious Shopping!

    by kop-queen Written Mar 4, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Escape the heat and spend some serious money if you want to. Not that it's all expensive stuff - there is a complete range to choose from - there's just a lot of shops to fritter away your holiday dollars in.

This is a big scale shopping mall - all under one roof (or as far as we managed to discover it was). Worth a trip - be sure to pick up the book of saving vouchers at the service desk if you haven't already been given one elsewhere.

What to buy: From budget clothing to high tec electronics and high quality furnishings.

What to pay: Take your credit card if you're serious!

    Millenia Mall: High End Shopping

Want to spend your entire paycheck? Just spend some time here. Seriously, even though there are some very high end shops here, there are also some more affordable ones. Even high end stores like Macy's have great sales. The interior of this mall is beautiful, with a lot of marble and light. Also a great place to people watch.

What to buy: Go for the sales if you can.

What to pay: how much you got?

Millenia Mall: The Newest and Best Mall in Orlando

by sargentjeff Written Aug 29, 2004

We'll never forget Millenia Mall, as this is where we bought Mariangela a new diamond trio ring. It was our first shopping trip on vacation, and she had been wanting to visit the American Jewelry stores for quite some time. Well, she really wanted to go to the mall for Banana Republic, but jewelry is right up there. I found an Apple store and bought one of the new 40GB iPods. These iPod things are fantastic, but that's another tip for another website. There is also a little treasure tucked away in the food court, Panera Bread, which makes some outstanding french bread, and the bagels are terrific as well. There is also a Macy's, Bloomingdales, and about 100 other stores in this two story shopping feast.

What to buy: Jewelry, clothing, electronics, Starbucks coffee, Panera bread

What to pay: Retail prices for just about everything, but I did get a military discount at Apple. They discount 15% on hardware to government employees.

    Malls: Mall at Millenia

by goingsolo Written Jul 20, 2004

The Mall at Millenia is a new Orlando mall. It is the only place within the city to have a Neiman Marcus store, further proof that this city is up and coming. Most of the shops here are high end and pricey, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, etc. But there's a Bloomingdales and a Sears thrown in to balance things out.

The mall also has a bunch of well known chain restaurants: Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's, California Pizza Kitchen and Johhny Rockets, which stay open and remain crowded well past the mall's business hours.

If you want pleasant shopping experience, head off to Millenia. Head out towards Universal but carry on along I4 until next junction. Lots of great offers for us Brits!
    Tasteful setting.
Bloomingdale's and Macy at either end of the Mall, provides lots of choice!

What to buy: Plenty - usual shops

What to pay: For British, Gap is half price here. Make up and perfume much cheaper here
