I booked a trip as a suprise for Dave, & it was perfect because we could do it early in the morning, then still go shopping as we'd planned for the day - as we didn't have any spare days, it was really hard to fit things in! I booked with Bluewater Balloons after finding them online - they were very friendly & it cost me $165 pp. In with the price was a transfer to-from our hotel, the flight, a certificate & champagne glass & gorgeous picnic after the flight. We were picked up at 5.30am & drove to another hotel where we met the rest of the team & 2 other couples who were due to be taking a balloon ride. We then drove to a huge field which would be our launch point, & watched them set up the balloons. Our flight was truly breathtaking. The scenery was amazing & you get to see so more of Orlando than you normally would - it's so peaceful too. We were lucky enough to be up there for 1hr 20mins - the flights are meant to last around an hour, but weather conditions (the wind can effect where they land) meant ours was a little longer. Once we landed, we waited 30 mins for the chase team to arrive then had our picnic & champagne. The picnic was lovely, fresh fruits, biscuits, pastries, muffins....a really nice touch. We then got our certificates & photo they had taken before launch which was free - again, a nice touch as some companies would charge! We were then taken back to our hotel for 10.45 - which was perfect as we could still go shopping like we'd planned! I thoroughly recommend a balloon ride over Orlando - it's a wonderful experience & bluewater balloons definitely get my vote!

Immediately you are taken back in time when you purchase your boarding pass for the exhibit. The staff are dressed in attire indicative of the 1910's. You are given a pass with a real passengers name who was on the Titanic, you don't get to see if that person survived or not until the end of the tour. You step on board the ramp and walk right into a world of artifacts, recreated icebergs, and my absolute favorite, a room made up to make you feel you were on the docks on the very cold night that the Titanic hit the iceberg. You walk away with an appreciation of the ship itself and the people who survived and perished that cold night in April. The gift shop is lovely with everything from china to books. If you are a history buff of the story of the Titanic, you will certainly find something of value here to take home. Titanic Exhibition/Mercado-very handicapped friendly! A must visit on your trip there. Don't forget to explore the Mercado, it's a beautiful shopping area with great Mexican restaurants. Directions: There are several courses around the H192 , I4 , International Drive area.

they obviously feel safe in numbers! by kop-queen Fabulous day - worth every dollar (when you add up whats included its actually value for money). Arrive early (8am onward) pools were emptied around 5.30pm. Couldn't resist repeatedly returning to the pool with the fish and rays (see photo) where you can snorkel to your hearts content. More magic than Disney could ever produce. Leave a Comment Address: Next to Sea World, International Drive

Food, glorius food! With over 25 countries and their foods represented, Disney's Epcot Center is a 2 month long week end destination for serious and not-so-serious epicurians to indulge in various foods from Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup to the Meatballs from Scandinavia. It is a veritable "feast" of different foods and the culture from which they come from. It is an around the world tour in one spot. Some of the countries represented were Canada, Spain, Argentina, Greece, Turkey as well as Germany and France. You can taste foods and pair them with the wine that best complements the food served. There is a champagne booth as well as a beer tasting booth (the latter being a very busy booth.) Admission to Epcot is $67.00 a day for adults and kids over the age of 10 and $56 for 9 and under and then the food and wine are available at additional cost running between $2.50 to $7.00 for each food item. Beer and wine run $2.50 to $10.00 a glass. The festival runs on the week ends only during the months of September, October and November, so make sure you check the event planner at the Disney Resort web site. Leave a Comment

airboat ride by joolssss Here you go on an air boat! extremely noisy but great fun, these would be a top attraction in one of the parks! they glide across the water as you look out for alligators, turtles snakes and whatever else may be about. Definately a must for all! You will need ear defenders though because they really are noisy! Leave a Comment Address: Southport Park 2001 West Southport Road KissimeePhone: 407-933-5822

pirates on ladder by V_Minx Photo borrowed from listed website. Doors open at 7:00PM, but get there earlier if you need to buy your tickets or want to upgrade. From 7:00 to 8:30PM enjoy free hors de vours, some small crowd interactive shows, explore a museum on pirating, get your face painted, buy a drink, or just mill around & people watch. At 8:30 you are taken to the main stage area where you are seated around a large stage filled with 30,000 gal of water and a near life-sized ship replica. Begin with a salad then quickly move on to the main meal. 2 choices of dinner - chicken & shrimp or chicken & beef with sides of mixed vegetables, rice or roasted red potatoes. Your choice of either soda, coffee, beer or wine to drink. A dessert of apple cobbler a la mode completes the meal. I thought the food was first rate. While you are eating, the show goes on. A colorful cast of characters acts out an adventure of a pirate crew's capture of a princess and her ultimate rescue by an unlikely hero. The action is wonderful and non-stop, the songs were entertaining and the storyline kept things moving. It is an entertaining night out for young and old alike. There is quite a lot of audience participation, but the cast does not push too hard if you are not willing to volunteer. If you go and have the chance to participate, take the opportunity. Nothing asked of you is too difficult and you'll be the talk of your frined's or family. Downtown Disney is a commercial center with lots of shops, restaurants and entertainments. It's a good place to go to walk and watch without spending too much money if you don't want. I do know that it's not easy but just try it... Downtown Disney has three areas: Marketplace: it includes places like Rainforest Cafe, LEGO Imagination Center, World of Disney, Once Upon A Toy, Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop, Fulton's Crab House, Cap'n Jack's Marina, Earl of Sandwich plus another shops. Pleasure Island is mainly a nightly entertainment complex, with 7 dance places like 1930s Explorer's Club, The Comedy Warehouse, 8TRAX, The Rock 'n Roll Beach Club, BET, Motion, y Mannequins Dance Palace. In West Side there are luxury restaurants, big malls and entertainment areas, including Virgen Megastore, Cirque du Soleil - la Nouba, the House of Blues, DisneyQuest, Planet Hollywood, the Wolfgang Puck Cafè, Bongos Cuban Cafè. Me ready to golf by Samscalling Adventure golf is alot of fun & a great way to start/end an evening on I-Drive. We went to Pirates Cove which is up near Pointe Orlando - but there's quite a few different places dotted down I-Drive. Can get quite busy, but so can everything in Orlando! Good fun though - but watch our for the water...I lost quite a few balls in there, much to the horror of my boyfriend who had to keep getting new ones for me, lol.

Hi Jeff - I don't know where to begin to tell what an amazing experience is hot air ballooning. I don't understand why it's not one of Orlando's top attractions. Certainly beats all Disney's attractions. Also, wanted to thank you the great customer experience you gave us. You were able to pass on to my parents and grandparents your passion for ballooning that you have cultivated during so many years. I can't wait to take my daughter on one of your flights for her 5th year-old birthday. With your warm camaraderie and your excellence in flying balloons, I have no doubt that she will be in safe hands. Jeff you're the number one attraction in Orlando and also the best kept secret ! Constructed: 1889 Demolished: 1958 and reconstructed. It was changed from a traditional Gothic Style to the newer Spanish Colonial Style with white stucco, curved arches, instead of pointed and the peaked roofs hidden with the use of curvilinear elements. In 1912 the sanctuary was enlarged to seat 1000. In 1914-1915 a major renovation was undertaken that completely changed the look of the building. The congregation added stained glass windows and the church was covered with stucco. Leave a Comment Directions: There are several courses around the H192 , I4 , International Drive area.
