Universal Studios - Islands of Adventure, Orlando
Built on Universal Studios original car park, Universal Islands of Adventure (UIA) to me is Rollercoaster Heaven. Most of the park is cartoon and film themed, all the rides have something to do with a character of some sort.
The park is divided into different islands and are packed full of rides and attractions, they are:
Marvel Super Hero Island
The Lost Continent
Below are the continents with some of the rides available to you. I will start by writing about the rides that I have been on then add the others later.
Marvel Super Hero Island
The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman
The webbed wonder takes you on a three dimensional journey through the city streets, when he lands on the front of the car you actually feel the car move. The graphics are superb on this ride.
The Incredible Hulk Coaster
The ride takes you from 0-40mph in 2 seconds -skywards. The coaster takes you on an incredible ride of twists and turns on the green steel.
Doctor Doom`s Fearfall
Strap yourself in one of the two towers and let yourself be rocketed 150 feet into air before plummiting back to earth. This is one of the least scarey of the thrill rides, it gives you great views over the park though.
Dudley Do Rights Ripsaw Falls
This has to be the best log flume that I have ever been on with the last drop taking you underneath the water level at the bottom.
Popeye and Bluto`s Bilge-Rat Barges
Once again this has to be the best rapids ride that I have ever been on, set in a cartoon location you are certain to get a good soaking.
This is a separate theme park from Universal Studios. It's divided in to 5 areas: Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Lost Continent, and Seuss Landing.
They have a little something for people of all ages. Great roller coaster rides are Incredible Hulk Coaster and Dueling Dragons. The water rides are a good way to stay cool during the day. Spider-Man is a neat ride. Marvel Super Hero Island is a must see for comic buffs and Seuss Landing is a must for young kids.
Busts are Doctor Doom's Fearfall and Poseidon's Fury.
The best theme park probably after Universal Studios is Islands Of Adventure. It's just filled with fun rides! The best rides in Islands Of Adventure would be: spiderman, The Hulk and the jurassic park river adventure.
dudley do-right's ripsaw falls (you get wet),popeye & bluto's bilge-rat barges (you get real wet),
jurassic park river adventure (get wet),poseidon's fury.
if you like rollercoasters you have to try the one from the picture (dueling dragons)

Duelling Dragons - The Lost Continent - Islands of Adventure (* * * * *)
Two duelling, inverted roaller coasters, what provide at least one really scary moment (when they seem to almost touch each other, with you in the middle!).
Minimum height: 54'. Universal Express available.
The Flying Unicorn - The Lost Continent - Islands of Adventure (* * * *)
Atlhough less 'radical' than the others, this roaller coaster also provide a good deal of excitement.
Minimum height: 36'. Universal Express available.
Seuss Landing - Islands of Adventure
I didn't spend much time at this 'land', as it is intended for smaller children (and of course my brother refused to go there).
Parents must judge if it is worthwhile coming to a park where children below 40' won't have much to do...
Popey & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges - Toon Lagoon - Islands of Adventure (* * * *)
Another great soaking adventure, this time in water rapids. Nice touch: people can target you from outside (there is 'guns' that can be target at the poor victims below in the water...) Minimum height = 48'. Universal Express available.
Incredible Hulk Coaster - Marvel Super Hero Island - Islands of Adventure (* * * *)
Absolute thrilling roller coaster! I screamed most of time and have lots of fun!
Minimum height of 52'. Universal Express pass available and worthwhile using. There are lockers to leave your stuff before entering the ride.
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man - Marvel Super Hero Island - Islands of Adventure (* * * * *)
Probably the best ride in Orlando: you participate very realistic in a Spider Man adventure. An absolute must!
Universal Express available (and you'd better use them, because the lines are endless). Minimum height 40' or 102cm.
Wonderful park for teenagers and adults that are high emotion lovers... Great roller coasters and lots of soaking fun!
They got Universal Express tickets here, so you can skip lines. If you have a multi-day pass you can select up to 3 attractions each time.
AWESOME..is there any other word for it !!! We had to wait 2 hrs to ride, but so glad we did...recommend to all who go to florida on vacation !!!!
OK, as I have said, I don't like the theme parks in Orlando, but if I had to pick one, I would probably recommend Islands of Adventure because of its rides.
