McGuires Irish Pub: McGuires Irish Pub

    McGuires

This is really a great place to eat as well as a great place to go and have a good time. There are dollar bills all over the walls, and any place you could think of sticking one. There are $250,000 of one dollar bill today. Everyone can write on the bill and you are to Kiss to Moose as well. A lot of fun and good memories to be made.

Favorite Dish: Many favorites, Salads, Shrimp dinners, Chicken and pasta dinners. They have the best Margarita's in town.

    Still at McGuires

When Molly made her first tip of one dollar, she decided to tack it to the back bar for good luck. In time friends of the pub added their dollar to the collection and it soon became tradition. Today you will see $1 bills everywhere. There are said to be over $250,000 one dollar bills hanging from the ceiling throughout the Pub in Pensacola and I don’t think Destin is too far behind. An amazing sight. We added our couple of dollars to the collection.
    .

Favorite Dish: Because it was early, I only had a house Caesar Salad which was a starter but it was delicious. Apparently the burgers were excellent though, so much that we checked out the Destin branch of McGuires when we stayed there.

Dharma Blue- DT- sit outside on a weekend and have drinks and huge salads
Melting Pot- DT- make reservations early- plan to be there to eat for 2 hours- it's worth it, relax!

Favorite Dish: Jackson's- anything- try the salmon!
    Dharma Blue- great salads
Melting Pot- the coq au vin, with surf and turf!

Copeland's. We've been to Pensacola a number of times, but it seems that we have been to Copeland's a number of times (even though they are a chain and we have the same exact thing in Baton Rouge). It seems that there are a lot of chains in Pensacola. On Santa Rosa Island, there are lots of places to go, including a couple of restraunts on the beach - but that is more like a burger and fries kind of deal.

This inside/outside restaurant not only includes seating for dining but has 2 outside bars, a dance area with live band, and 3 sand volleyball courts. This is a great place to get a really good meal, have a few drinks while enjoying the music, and watch or play some volleyball. The restaurant also includes a sizeable recreation area for the kids.

Favorite Dish: I had the seafood platter, which had shrimp, oysters, and grouper, It was extremely good.

It was great! We had plenty to eat, and enjoyed ourselves on the patio. However, we were forgotten about TWICE... I almost left when it took 15min for the ticket.

I love most all the dishes here so you will have to make your own decision. It has great surroundings with indoor and outdoor seating. Volleyball courts, something for the small children.
