cute little local place that will fix any of FOUR basic hot dogs (I had the Kosher dog) with any of a large variety of toppings! They also have other items.
Favorite Dish: Kosher dog with sauerkraut, chili, and cheese -- my style. Nevermind what I like they will do a footlong, a regular dog, a Kosher dog or 1/4 pounder with any of MANY toppings.
Red beans and Rice
Great atmosphere with a LOT to look at from the real fishing boat to the actual raft that brought refugees from Cuba. Service was friendly but a bit slow by my standard for 'casual dining' and food was good. This seems to be the "other" local restaurant group as they own an Irish Pub (looks quaint and family friendly) in Pensacola and Crabs across the street (I got mixed reviews from local about that one).
This place does have good chowder which came free with my dinner, cold beer, and a great burger. They also have a play area for kids and a nice beach venue with music that is likley awesome in summer.
Favorite Dish: Seafood Burger - a really good, large hamburger that is very tasty and the seafood topping makes it even better.
My fried oysters were good but of the dishes at our table, I would return for the burger -- priced right at $10.
A sports bar with seafood in a convenient locations. This is owned by the folks that own Peg Leg Pete's so they also have their own seafood market to get the fresh seafood.
You can likley count about 40 flat screen TVs and any sports event you want to see! (TEN, yes, TEN satellite signal receivers!!_)
Favorite Dish: Lunch Fried Shrimp $8.95, AZ great meal at a great price, Lightly fried fresh gulf shrimp with a side of tangy Cajun sauce. Served with fresh steamed broccoli and choice of new potatoes or fries.
They have wings, oysters, sandwiches, dinners -- and ten beers on tap.
The folks who own this place own a seafood market. Kids are welcomed with pirate patches (just ask) a pirate statue, a huge playground, and meals in a bucket. Adults find a great selection of cold beer and great seafood. A really fun atmosphere for all!

Favorite Dish: Oysters, Peel and eat shrimp, Po Boys, Cold beer, friendly staff
I ate here twice and loved both meals - sharing food with several people and every dish was wonderful.
Well, as we slowed down our speed, we often made our own supper. The Modica Market, just around the corner, can stock your cottage with groceries, meats, fresh vegetables, desserts, beer, wine, water and cold drinks, you just may use its Modica Market shopping list to order.
Looking for something special? Order to your heart's delight with a Modica Moment and, find new, exciting gourmets (see Modica Market web site!). So I did for one evening... and prepared a delicious Indonesian meal.
Favorite Dish: Fortunately I could find some products I really needed. Like rice, eggs, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, carrots, bacon, oil, butter, chicken, beef, garlic, onions, peppers, tomatoes, green beans, lime, tortilla chips, cocosmilk ...
Preparing the rice in boiled water (and some salt and oil) I heated some oil to fry the chicken (rubbed in salt, pepper & garlic). When nice brown coloured, remove the chicken, put it on a plate, and I fried the bacon in new oil. The same with the beef for now (not rubbed in) ...
Onions and garlic followed, the vegetables went with it (the hard one at first, no cucumber), then the sliced beef. A bit of water, lime, and add some cocos-milk. Let it cook on most low fire ...
Finish the chicken for a short time in oven, until done. Cut the cucumber in parts, half peeled of, half not (nice colours). I assure you we had a wonderfull Indonesian dish that evening with a lot of fun ... and a good glass of wine!
Not 'crabs' as in "Joe's Crab Shack", but a local restaurant on Pensacola beach. It has wonderful atmosphere & you pay for it.. Like all the restaurants on Pensacola beach, you probably won't get out under 70.00 for a family of four.
This is a great sports bar. Right next to the Hampton Inn, they deliver to your room and the food is good. If you go to the bar, you will be able to enjoy just about any sport you want to. Great to go with friends for the evening or just by yourself. I stopped in a few times during my visits and they always made me feel at home.
Favorite Dish: Breaded shrimp
AWESOME!! That is the only work I have to describe the food and service at Jubilee. The restaurant is just across the street from the Hampton Inn in the mall. I cannot remember the name of the mall at the moment, but you cannot miss it, since you will pass it on your way to the Hampton Inn.
There are two dinning areas. Downstairs, Bushwacker's, is more of a bar and grill, casual atmosphere with outside seating during season. They also have live entertainment. Upstairs, Top Side Dinning, is more of a fine dinning atmosphere, so no shorts or jeans. They have an extensive menu with something for just about any one. The seafood, of course, is absolutely wonderful and fresh.
Check the website for more details and times.
Favorite Dish: Green lip muscles.
This is the best seafood restaurant I've ever been to (though I live in Ohio, which is not famous for its seafood reastaurants, so maybe this is not saying much).
Flounder's has a very nice ambiance, with a bar area and books along some of the walls and even a nice fireplace. And of course a nautical theme but not too kitsch.
The service was great and the food was just awesome. I ate way too much because it's not often I get to eat really good seafood!
Favorite Dish: I had mahi-mahi and it was outstanding.
We wanted to have lunch out on Pensacola Beach to boost the economy after all the hurricane damage that they suffered, so we stopped here. But it turned out that they weren't open for lunch
