Block after Block

Rubble piled high block after block. Not all damage was only done to trailer parks and mobile homes. A great many permanent homes were also ruined or destroyed. It was a very discourgaging sight to see and this is about thirty days after hurricane hit the city.

Tile and Cement Roofs

Charlie's winds were over 130 miles per hour when it hit the city so even permanent homes, office buildings, and shopping centers were not spared. In the corner of this picture is a home covered with a blue tarp as it's roof is damaged but livable. Blue is now a very popular color for roofs in this hard hit city.
