Mi Casa Cafe, Saint Augustine

I must admit this is where I got my first dose of drunkness in college... off their sangria!

This is a tiny little cafe/resturant that serves veggie-German- spanish type food. It is nothing fancy and the atmosphere is very casual.You can eat outside and there is usually some type of live music.

I can smell the sangria now...!

Favorite Dish: Sangria and Veggie tofu dogs..

Mi Casa Cafe is located in the historic downtown of St. Augustine, in the heart of downtown on the main pedestrian street. After walking thru St. George Street, we always stop here for a drink or lunch. You can sit inside or under the trees outside. The atmosphere is laid back. Mi Casa offers a variety ranging from Spanish/Mexican cuisine to vegetarian favorites. There is always live music and there are different performers. That is the reason why we come here; Just sit back under the trees, have a nice lunch, and listen to the music.

It's got a very charming outside patio, grab a quick bite and a beer....

Favorite Dish: I had the hot dog reuben....a german hot dog kind of thing, it was really good for a casual and quick meal.
