Going to Ft. Desoto is pretty fun... white sand that's as smooth as water.
Well, I'd say that the best thing that ever happened to me happened in St. Pete. Picture it, St. pete Dec. 4th, 1999. I went backstage of the Mahaffey theatre and met the three most impacting people in my life: Jim Zellers (acticing principal-flute), Daphne Soellner (assist. principal-flute), and Lewis Sligh (who is now my flute teacher, principal piccolo-flute). They made up the flute section of the marvelous, Florida Orchestra.

Take a visit to the floating gardens with their many spiecies of plant life. The large gardens and parks made for just sitting and relaxing and enjoying people and the things they do.
Of course the beaches of white sand that seem to stretch forever are very beautiful. There is no place to compare with the sunsets you can see over the Gulf. Leave a Comment
