Fishermen's Village: A fun place to shop for souvenirs

by Jefie

Punta Gorda's Fishermen's Village is located at the end of West Retta Esplanade, next to the marina. This large complex overlooking Charlotte Harbor features several specialty and souvenir shops as well as some nice restaurants. It's one of the top attractions in the area, and I must admit that I spent at least a couple hours wandering in and out of the little stores where I managed to find quite a few souvenirs. My two favourite shops turned out to be Bella Balsamic, a store that sells imported balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and the Beach Bums Sweet Shoppe, especially because of its pick & choose salt water taffy section :o)

Swapshop: Swapshop Fort Lauderdale

The Swap shop is located about 30 minutes bus journey from Fort Lauderdale and it's about a square mile of bargains. Well worth a visit. You can buy almost any-thing. Clothes and shoes are a lot cheaper than the shops.

Cela fait assez classe ! vêtements, articles de sports, montres, lunettes de soleil

Walmart in Kissimmee: Shoppers wonderland!?

by tracey.brownsword

Walmart -what can i say! it's huge. Depends how you see shopping in a huge supermarket that seems to stock everything!! Either a nightmare or a dream? If you are after cheap gifts for the folks back home, then Walmart is a good place to get them. They do Florida/Disney t-shirts, postcards, fridge magnets etc and these are a lot cheaper than the gift shops in the theme parks and tourist areas. How much have you got...!

Premium Outlet: Great shops - low prices

by tamarawolf

Premium Outlet is a type of warehouse (outdoors) for all designers. You can get get great stuff for half the price you would pay anywhere else. They have hundreds of shops mainly clothes but also jewelerey, sports shops, some food, sunglasses shops etc. Check it. We usually go at the beginning and buy our holiday clothes there so we travel in light and come back kitted. clothes, clothes, clothes, shoes, jewelery, sunglasses, sports stuff and one HUGE PIZZA
