MANGROVES: Fine Dinning
Dinners only. Limited menu selections (about ten to twelve) changing daily. Cool blue lights and candles with a center stairway to an open balcony dining room. For an appetizer try the Dancing Coconut Tiger Prawns in pineapple and a papaya salsa or the Grand Mariner scallops with roasted red corn, red pearl onions, potatoes and papaya butter.
Favorite Dish: I opted for the Chilean Sea Bass that was pan seared in a truffle oil and with whipped potatoes laced with Maine lobster and lump crab meat. It was an excellent choice and upon returning I will try the Apple wood planked salmon that they say is sensational.
I just found out that the Chilean Sea Bass is now on the RED LIST. Overfished and endangered. It now joins my list of never order again along with Red snapper and Orange roughy.
