The Salvadore Dali museum situated in St Petersburg is a must see. It houses the most comprehensive collection of Dali's painting - 95 oil paintings in all. In addition, there are numerous water paintings and graphics describing the life of this famous (and weird) spanish painter.
Are we in Figueres, Spain? No, trust me, this is still Florida. This, in fact, is the largest Dali collection in the world.
It's very interesting to note that Dali did a lot more than just surreal artwork. You'll get a chance to see some of his other styles as you stroll through the museum and the period of his changing art.
This museum dedicated to the Spanish painter has the largest collection of Dali art outside the museum Dali established himself in Figueres.
This unique museum displays 95 original oils, over 100 watercolors and drawings, and nearly 1,300 graphics created by Dali.
This is a permanent collection, a must-see destination for any Art fan.
