Transportation problem. Unfortunately there is almost no public transportation in Tampa. For those who drive a car: be careful, there are lots of old people in Florida, especially Tampa Bay, and they can't concentrate any longer... It is very dangerous to cycle or walk on Tampa streets. I recommend using sidewalks instead. Leave a Comment

Taxis magically seem to disappear around closing time...get to be friends with your cabbie on the way to the clubs and he may come back for you. Leave a Comment

Trolleys run downtown through Hyde Park, Channelside, and up to Ybor. Check them out if you're staying downtown. Might save a lot on taxis.
