Ona & I at The Cure show sipping margaritas!

Located out west off Southern Blvd. at the South Florida Fairgrounds, Sound Advice Amphitheatre is a state-of-the-art outdoor concert venue. Designed for an outdoor concert experience thanks to our gorgeous weather, it attracts more than 30 events each year. With approx. 7K reserved seats under a covered pavilion, and a perfectly sloping festival lawn with room for nearly 12,000 more. Bring a blanket or rent a lawn chair and enjoy a truly unique open-air concert beneath the stars. There are tons of food and drink vendors at every show so you can picnic it if you'd like!

Check their Web site or once you're here, the Palm Beach Post newspaper for who's playing there and when. We've seen bands like Sting & The Cure there for example.

    jupiter light house

located off of US 1 in jupiter florida is the historic 1860 jupiter inlet lighthouse. the light house has a museum on the history of the area and you can also go to the top of the light house for a great view of the loxahatchee river. for those interested in old lighthouses and florida history the jupiter light house and museum is a very worth while stop in the west palm beach area. from downtown west palm beach take I-95 north to the PGA blvd exit. go east about a mile then turn left on US 1. on US 1 go north about three miles to the light house. for more information see the attached web site.

    Lion Country Safari

Described as a cageless zoo, Lion Country Safari is actually two parks. The first part is a drive through safari which is supposed to resemble portions of Africa. The sceond part is the walk through part, which features exhibits, shows and elephant rides.

The park is located 15 miles west of Southern Blvd on I-95.
