Winter Haven Favorites

Favorite thing: Winter Haven Florida is the favorite stay for my Parents. My Dad has passed away but everytime My Mother goes to Florida she likes to stay in the same Motel that She has stayed in before. This is Cypress Gardens. I will add to this page in the next couple weeks. Thanks for visiting my page.

Favorite thing: Cypress Gardens has Millions of different flowers. I always heard from my Mother about getting my picture taken in a flower bed there so It was interesting to finally see someplace I had been as a baby.

Favorite thing: This watershow went on for years. Some of the best waterskiers in the world passed thru here. This show was probably the biggest attraction at the gardens.

Fondest memory: The beauty of the grounds, whatever the season was.

Favorite thing: I also liked the bird show that we saw in one of park nature-oriented enclosures. There's something about owls that always fascinates.

Fondest memory: Durning the Christmas season the Poinsettia is the most used flower at the gardens. Both the white and the red are used all over.

Favorite thing: The Gazebo and a Cypress Hostess with their images reflected in the pool.The Hostess has a small fence around her as there are alligators in the pool.

Favorite thing: Take a ride through the canals an view the many plants and flowers from around the world. Also catch a boat ride around Lake Elosie.
