every march the city of winter park hosts the annual winter park sidewalk art festival on park ave downtown. over 250,000 people come to winter park to attend this three day event. the art festival showcases the works of artists from all over the country and has a section devoted children's art from local area schools. 2009 was the 50 th anniversary of this local event. if in the orlando area in march this is a very worth while festival to attend. admission is free but because of limited parking you will have to pay a small fee for a parking space. see the attached website for more information.
