Chez Vincent is a must for lovers of French Food in the Orlando area. Located in Winter Park, the service here is top notch and the food is very good. I'm certainly not an expert on French food but every time I have been here has been memorable. Reservations are suggested.
Favorite Dish: I have loved everything I had here, especially the chicken dishes.

I ate in the garden courtyard, on a pleasant Orlando November evening. The inside was pleasantly decorated, with white table clothes. Drink specials: Tues - 2 for 1 Well Drinks, Wed - $3 House Wines, Thu - Ladies Night-Ladies Drink Free House Wines and Well Drinks with Purchase of Entree or Appetizer. I came on a Wednesday.
Favorite Dish: I started off with a bowl of tasty vegetable soup: $5. My main course was the Portobello & Brie Stuffed Chicken, tender sauteed chicken breast stuffed with Portobello mushrooms and brie cheese with a light cream sauce garnished with raspberry reduction. with the house blend rice: $18. Very tasty. Two glasses of White Zinfandel, Buehler, Napa: 2 x $3. Coffee: $2. Total with taxes and tip: $39.

I ate on the patio, on a pleasant Orlando evening, so did not see the inside decor. The patio has about 12 tables. A lengthy selection of authentic Turkish specialties is available in this family run restaurants. Open every day for lunch and dinner.
Favorite Dish: I started with the Red Lentil Soup (Ezo Gelin), blend of red lentil beans, turkish seasonings and fresh herbs: $5.50. My main course was the Chicken Sauté, tender cubes of chicken breast sautéed with fresh tomatoes, onions, red and green bell peppers, mushrooms and
seasoned with herbs and spices in a cream sauce, served with rice: $19.95. Very tasty with the seasonings and vegetables. Two glasses of the tasty German Riesling, Weber, Piesporter Michelsberg: 2 x $ 8. Dessert was the Kunefe, baked to order, with shredded filo dough then stuffed with turkish sweet cheese, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios: $6.00. Tasty but disappointing as it did not live up to the description. Coffee: $2.50. Total with taxes and tip : 62.20.

You will think you are in Spain: Spanish ambiance and decor, and specialities from Spain. Just like the restaurants I ate in, in Spain. The waitor was attentive, soup bowl removed when finished, wine refill when needed, dinner dishes removed when finished with dessert and coffee offered. The first restaurant in which I was able to order a paella for one. A good selection of inexpensive wines by the glass. A lengthy list of their tapas specialties.
Favorite Dish: I stated with a tasty lentil soup, the soup of the day: $4. Then Paelo Valenciana: chicken breast, Spanish chorizo, shrimp and shell fish, on saffron rice. Very tasty, but so large I was unable to finish: $23. A doggy bag was offered, but staying at a hotel, I was unable to accept. Two glasses of a good Spanish wine (I forgot to note the name):2x $7. Too full for dessert. Coffee: $1.95. With taxes and tip: $53.74

This is a little sweet Cuban deli that creates one of the best Cuban Sandwiches I've ever had, and I LOVE Cuban sandwiches! It only has some stool seats along the front window and left wall. No tables available, but most people buy and take out anyway. The owner, Andres, is warm and welcoming.
They have daily specials, and prices are all reasonable. They also cater.
9" Cuban Sandwich is $5.75
Vegetarian Platter (yellow rice, black beans, plantains, & salad) is $5.75.
Spanish baked chicken is $6.75
This Cuban Deli was named Best Latin-- 1st Place-Orlando Weekly 2010
Favorite Dish: Though I always go there for the Cuban sandwiches and black bean & rice soup, which are superb, they also offer:
-Chorizo, sweet ham, and Swiss cheese sandwiches
-Pan Con Lechon (pulled pork drizzled with a garlic mojo)
-Turkey, lettuce, tomato, & their avocado dressing
Desserts:
-Quesitos (sweet cheese-filled pastry) for $1
-Flan (Cuban Creme Brulee) for $2.25
-Tres Leche (three milk cake) for $2.25
To sum it up...it is great food at great prices! Definitely worth a visit!!

One of my favorite spots to sit and have a cup of coffee or a delicious sandwich. Palmano's is a true success story. Owned by Richie and Teresa Palmano, it started as a small coffee roaster that was hard to find, but once you did, you entered an amazing courtyard with just a few tables. It was a fantastic secret. Such a wonderful place to enjoy some fresh air, read the paper and people watch. When the neighboring business closed, they snapped up that spot as well and became and even more amazing wine bar with sidewalk seating and a few indoor seats. The menu isn't huge, usually a few sandwiches and several wines and coffee drinks. Beer is also available. Everything they do have is excellent though. The atmosphere here is what keeps people coming back. Friendly staff who always stop by to say hello and regulars who actually greet you and nod hello...who could ask for anything more.
Favorite Dish: We usually stop here in the morning and my favorite is an italian egg wrap with eggs, sausage and roasted red peppers. Delicious! And of course I get a nice freshly roasted coffee.
