    Winter Park Farmer's Market

I don't know how long this Farmer's Market has existed, but it is fabulous. Though it isn't very big, you can find anything from plants to butterflies there.

The market is every Saturday morning until around 2pm. There are more stands on sunny days and better prices than downtown.

    Worlds largest Tiffany display

by shohman Updated Dec 24, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Morse Museum of American Art

The Morse Museum is quite a find. Located on the North end of Park Ave it houses the largest collection of tiffany works in the World. From stained glass to lamps and jewlery this has it all. The most breathtaking part of all is the chapel. In the 1838 Worlds Fair in Chicago Tiffany had a complete chapel built to show his stained glass works. The chapel is complete with pews and a huge alter. After the fair ended the chapel was disassembled and is now housed here. Sadly, they don't allow photos inside the museum.
Helpful tip: Every year on Christmas Eve admission is free.

I once heard an ignorant woman say America had no culture. One only needs to step into any local city's American Art museum to prove this woman was a gigantic idiot.
