PEACHTREE ROAD !!!! This place is great if you want to have fun and meet people from all over Atlanta, and of course, all over the world, since Atlanta is an international city. You can go to Mako's, Living Room, there are a lot of bars and discos!!

If you want to go out and have the opportunity to check out a bunch of different places - go to Buckhead! There are over 100 bars in 2-3 block area.
My favorites were Lulu's Bait Shack (order a fish bowl) and Fado's, an Irish Pub.
Dress Code: There are all types of different bars and clubs. This is an upscale area and pretty trendy - casual is fine, but dress to impress!
Great atmosphere and traditional irish music. We all came here after my brother won the silver medal for swimming in the paralympic games. The staff were so nice, they even gave us a free bar for the night!

The Three Dollar Café in Buckhead
Not that different from a lot of big bars, big screen TV's and paper towel dispensers on the tables. It has a dozen of fridge doors containing beers from around the world. You sit at one end of the bar and you make your way to the other end while sampling different beers.
They did have a few I never drank before.

Different bar and club styles ranging from raves to fancy dress-up bars where the bouncer has discretion on whether or not you are dressed up enough. Don't mess with the bouncer, He's usually about 6'7', 265, pure muscle.
Dress Code: find a bar that seems to suit you best, they're all there.
This is the most popular nightlife venue in Atlanta. Hundreds of bars & restaurants within walking distance. Warning: gets kind of like a drunken frenzy at times.
