Plave is dimly lit and grubby the way I suppose most diners are. The food was your usual french fry and burger type stuff
Favorite Dish: Cheeseburger and chips. I stck to what these places are good at rather than trying to experience any kind of fancy culinary delight.

One of my co-workers casually mentioined this place a few weeks ago, so when I stumbled upon it while wandering around the Buckhead area, I stopped in for dinner.
The outside looks like a lot of diners you find in the east - chrome / art deco - ish. But inside you find a much more refined decor, and very non-diner-like food.
Favorite Dish: I sat at the bar - where they unfortunately allow smoking - and started with a Tuna tare tare appitizer that was delicious. Also had a tasty Budda Drop Martini.
For dinner I had one of the best cheeseburgers ever. Cheeseburgers are not indicatave of the rest of the menu, but I didn't want a full meal, and the cheeseburger was highly recommended.
They also serve several good wines by the glass.

This is a great restaurant, and the architecture & decor are worth a visit. The menu is rather expensive but the service & quality are topnotch. This restaurant has been here for nearly 20 years.
Favorite Dish: Softshell crab salad. It's unique & tasty!

This place is awesome. The architecture is that of an old metallic diner with lots of neon and the art-deco decor interior is very upscale. It has a great bar, good service and fabulous food. A place to be seen! It is really busy - so expect some waiting time at the bar. And the bathrooms are really cool!
Favorite Dish: Everything was great!

A: No, most of the shopping has moved out of Downtown, unfortunately. It's a fairly easy MARTA trip up to Buckhead or to Lenox Square though.
