Fat Matt's Rib Shack has been around since 1990 and is one of Atlanta's favorite hot-spots. They feature great BBQ, live blues nightly and a casual setting for the whole family to enjoy. Please note that they only accept cash and seating is first come first serve, inside and outside. But the food is served fast and hot and is awesome!!!
Favorite Dish: I had 1/2 Slab of Ribs with bbq sauce on the side, Homemade Potato Salad, Rum Baked Beans and Sweet Tea.

Best ribs I have ever had and I have been to some of the restaurants on Beale St in Memphis. Last time I went the place was still there(a year and a half ago). Sauce is great!
Favorite Dish: The ribs!! The ribs are good because they fall off of the bone.

Favorite Dish: The Ribs - of course- here are the best within the perimeter. Grab a drink and your plate and sit away from the 'stage', it will get loud and crowded.

A: No, most of the shopping has moved out of Downtown, unfortunately. It's a fairly easy MARTA trip up to Buckhead or to Lenox Square though.
