Houston's, Atlanta

Everybody knows Houston's---it's a safe place to take the kids for a good meal with not too much innovation. Burgers, salads, desserts, Ribs are all safe bets here and you can get a drink along with your dinner! Midtown location right on Peachtree.

Favorite Dish: Ribs and a beer

Nice casual dining atmosphere. Great place to go and have a nice dinner and visit with friends.
The only thing I did not like about Houston's was their wine prices. One glass of wine was more than the entree. Was not impressed with that and that alone would keep me from returning. My wife had 2 glasses of wine at $14 per glass. The others had 2 glasses also at $12 per glass. Beer is $5 per.
Guess we should have stuck to water!

Favorite Dish: Four of us had something different. One had fish that was good. One had ribs that were great, one had salad and one had crab cakes that were also good. Not one of us disliked our meal and we all tasted each others and all like them.

Houstons restaurant, even though I am a vegetarian, Houstons do the most fantastic veggie burger. they are opposite Lenox Mall
Also, le Peep which serves breakfast all day and do great pancakes!
The servers spend about 10 minutes talking through everything on the menu which is a bit boring when you are a veggie and can only eat caesor salad and garden burgers! but useful if you like meat
